Plaid Jeans are All the Rage

It may be hard to believe, but plaid jeans are actually becoming very popular with the younger crowd. They are made for both men and women, but more versions of the plaid jeans are made for the women. For instance, the jeans for women are also made in the skinny jeans style as well as the boot cut, low rise and natural waist. There are a couple of brands who do make the plaid jeans in the super skinny style for men, but they are still more popular with the women. The mens’ super skinny jeans mainly come in a dark green or a black plaid, so there aren’t as many to choose from as for the women. The guys will usually wear black sneakers or go sockless with a pair of moccasins with these jeans and they are set to go. Some of the guys even wear them ankle length.

It’s amazing how many different plaid colors and patterns there are to choose from. The super skinny jeans for women will come in a red, purple, blue, green, pink or black plaid. These can be dressed up or down depending on what shoes are worn with them. Unlike the guys who will wear any old sneakers, the girls will wear stylish sandals, heels, flats and even the plain sneakers.

The guys also like to wear the plaid shorts in the jeans style. These are the looser fitting ones that go to the knees or below. They seem to be more popular with the men than with the girls. However, just like the long jeans, girls will be seen wearing them too. There doesn’t seem to be any rules with this particular plaid fashion. Anything goes, and what is worn by one, will be worn by the other.

Women will wear the plaid jeans in a capri length. This is probably the most worn style of these jeans worn by the girls. With capri pants being so popular for the summer, and also being able to wear them on the job, these capri jeans can be worn casually and at work. They serve a variety of purposes and can be worn with a short top, or a casual solid color blouse. The capri length plaid jeans are the only ones that the men won’t be seen wearing at all.

Last, but not least, children will wear these jeans without any complaints. As long as they’re able to go outside and play in them, they really don’t care if they are in style or not.
